This morning as the sun bagan to show its light, Monica and Naomi were amidst the many vintage treasures at the Alameda Flea.
Wearing Prairie Underground sweatshirts and cozy scarves kept the morning chill away.
We took along bars made from Super Natural Cooking by Heidi Swanson.
Crazy shoes were found.
And had to be tried on.
We talked with friends along the way.
Midway through we found some artisan baked goods. Yum.
Monica likes to look for vintage fabrics to make her quilts.
Here she is unloading a box at the vendors request…..
to get to the fabric-goodness beneath.
Warmth Company will be having an art show with Monica’s quilts on Mother’s Day weekend. I will tell you more about that in the weeks to follow.
The french crepe foodie is amazing. Naomi had an organic buckwheat crepe with ham, egg and cheese.
It was a great day at the Alameda.
