We recently went on an adventure! The ultimate goal was to replenish our stock of CP Shades clothing, but first a few stops were to be made.
We bagan our day in the beautiful and calm Mill Valley at Summer House. This was the store that originally inspired Monica and Naomi as they were looking at buying Warmth Company here in Aptos.
Summer House carries similar home and personal items that we carry here at Warmth Company. We love the rich colors and bohemiian prints of these quilts, pillows and cases.
Both Naomi and Dani each found a lovely scarf. The jewelry displayed behind Naomi was fabulous. Next time you come in, be sure to ask Monica to show you her handmade fabric bracelet she found here. Perfect for a lady who loves to quilt, don’t you think?
We found a sweet little cafe with French pastries and great salads and sandwiches. We loved talking with beautiful Dani about her old corner of the world, Paris.
Here Naomi is wearing a new pair of shoes that we found while walking the streets of Mill Valley. After the soon to be European travelers purchased a pair, it was discovered that they are actually made in France!
Then we made our way to CP Shades in Sebastapol, where we placed orders for the Fall and holiday seasons. Can’t wait for this teal velour jacket and sweet white cotton tunic to arrive!
This was a favorite of Dani’s!
This oversized cropped top is great for layering.
As well as ordering for the months to come, we managed to come home with a few stuffed bags filled with new CP Shades for Warmth Company!
Not too far from CP Shades is Heath Ceramics,
If you are ever in Sausalito, check them out. They have great tabletop ceramics and linens, as well as charming tiles for your home.
A relaxed cup of coffee to end our day…
The pastries and treats looked amazing!
This is a little event room they were working on next door.
A beautiful and inspiring and yummy day it was! Come by soon to see the amazing clothing we brought back from CP Shades!
