Another great day at the Alameda flea…

This last weekend, Monica and Naomi made a trip to the Alameda flea, where they gathered decor for their customers homes and for their own as well. It was a lovely morning. Not too crowded and the weather was overcast and pleasantly cool. Beginning the day with an empty cart, the search was on for ‘the perfect finds’ for their clientele, most of whom they know personally.


Monica was also drawn to vintage fabrics for making her one-of-a-kind quilts:


It is no easy task to ferret out the perfect home decor in the midst the not so perfect home decor.
It is sort of like finding a needle in a haystack:




Here is Naomi with some of the day’s treasures in arm.
They truely enjoy the hunting process.


Many times throughout the day, the sisters stop to discuss their finds and make decisions that would best suit their patronage:


Then when Monday morning dawns, new lovelies are displayed in the shop, like old bottles and glass balls:
